People Leader Cohort

PROGRAM overview

This multi-session (6-10 sessions depending on client need) cohort-based leadership development program focuses on building critical people leadership capabilities for people leaders. The program begins with the DiSC assessment to build self-awareness and understanding of behavioral styles, then progresses through essential people leadership competencies. The program follows a blended learning approach with live groups sessions (virtual or in person), assigned reading and reflection between sessions, and on the job tasks to complete between sessions.

PROGRAM PHILOSOPHY

The program recognizes that leadership development has evolved beyond traditional top-down models to encompass everyone with people responsibilities, regardless of their position. Modern people leaders must be people-first, empathetic leaders who can navigate change, build trust, provide continuous feedback, and empower their teams. The foundation begins with understanding yourself and others through behavioral assessment, creating a common language for leadership development throughout the duration of the cohort.

leveraging DISC AS the PROGRAM FOUNDATION

Participants engage in cohorts of people leaders, facilitating peer learning, networking, and ongoing support. Cohorts will have diverse DiSC styles, enriching learning through multiple perspectives. The DiSC framework serves as a common language throughout the program, helping participants understand themselves, adapt to others, and lead with behavioral intelligence. All modules integrate DiSC principles.

BLENDED LEARNING APPROACH

  • Live Groups Sessions (virtual or in person, 2-4 hours per session): Interactive facilitation, DiSC-informed case discussions, skill practice, peer learning.

  • Between Sessions: Reading assignments, reflection exercises, practical application, peer discussions.

  • Experiential Learning: On-the-job application, action learning projects.
